Visitor Centers Host

Park Description: Custer State Park is located in the high tourism Black Hills. It is one of the top places to view wildlife, especially our bison herd of 1,500. 71,000 acres, 5 lakes, and 3 scenic drives await anyone who visits.

Job Description: Interact with park visitors within 1 of the 5 park visitor centers. Volunteers rotate between all 5, each with its own feel. Volunteers work 3 consecutive 8 hour days with 4 days off. Ideal candidates should enjoy talking with the general public and wildlife.
