Nestled along the southern shore of Ocean Pond, Olustee Beach provides a variety of day use activities including swimming and picnicking. Anglers are sure to enjoy Olustee Beach’s barrier-free fishing pier.

The day use area is open 365 days a year and is a great place to recreate when not camping.  There is a beach, boat ramp, fishing pier, interpretive trail and access to wonderful picnic and grilling amenities.

The Group Landing

The Group Landing is available by reservation only and can be reserved up to one year in advance.  The group landing amenities include a private beach, pavilion, group grill area, open space for tenting and four electric and water hookups.  The facility has electricity and private showers.   We encourage groups up to 50 to reserve 7 days a week.

The Osceola National Forest is within a short driving distance to many popular attractions in Florida and some

of the more popular north Florida cities, Jacksonville Beaches, Gainesville, University of Florida and Shands

Medical Center, St. Augustine – Oldest City in Florida, and Tallahassee, the state capitol. Osceola NF is set

between the Atlantic Beaches and the Nature Coast with many local rivers, caves and scenic points of

interest. Outdoor recreational activities on the forest are centered around Ocean Pond, a mile long lake that
