JOB DESCRIPTION:
Opportunities are open for the volunteer camp host at McCoys Ferry campground beginning April 1, 2025! Please note that this campground can only accommodate a small camper with a height restriction no greater than 10’3”. Tunnel access to the campground prevents anything higher. Also please note that the camp host site does not have electric, water, or sewer hook-ups. This is a primitive campground. Pit toilets and accessible portable toilets are available. Hand pump water is available April 15 – November 1.
The volunteer camp hosts assist the park in keeping a watchful eye on the campground and surrounding area. This includes monitoring the 12 single campsites and 1 group campsite for compliance with park regulations, performing light site maintenance tasks, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the park.
