Job Description
The Fruita Section of James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park offers Campground Host opportunities March through November. Positions are a 2 month minimum. Host(s) will receive a campsite (water, sewer & electric) in return for a minimum of 20 hours/week/person. We are seeking hosts with a wide variety of skills and experiences! Hosts are involved in cleaning campsites, selling firewood, and assisting visitors with park questions. Should be in good physical condition and enjoy working with the public. Special projects may be assigned based on the skills and interests of the volunteer and the needs of the park. The first step to the application process is to go to our website (cpw.state.co.us), if you already have a profile in the Volunteer database, please select the camp host position at James M. Robb Colorado River State Park Fruita Section. If you are new to the Colorado volunteer program please create a profile and select the opportunities you are interested in. Applications are accepted year round, however, positions are typically filled by December for the upcoming summer. Uniform shirts and hat provided.
