OVERVIEW:
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park
Located on beautiful Key Biscayne and minutes away from Miami
One of the best beach parks in Florida is looking for summer resident Volunteers.
We have resident spaces available July 1st – September 30th.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Our Volunteers help park staff in Historic Lighthouse tours, maintaining park facilities, vehicles, and grounds.
Be prepared for days outdoors in the wonderful Florida sunshine.
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills are helpful, but not required.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 20 hours per week for a 3 month stay
TRAINING:
Must have a current Volunteer Application on file
Must have a current Volunteer Agreement on file
Must complete DEP Annual Combo Training
Must provide a valid form of identification
Must pass a State and Federal sexual predator/offender check
All required training will be provided
