Park Resident Volunteer opportunity at Koreshan State Park (October, November, December 2020)

Maintenance

Enjoy one of Florida’s most unique State Parks while volunteering at Koreshan State Park. Located just 10 miles from the beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida, Koreshan is home to the historical settlement of the Koreshan Unity, a 19th Century religious utopian cult led by Dr. Cyrus Teed.

The park is currently looking for volunteers to assist park staff by keeping park grounds and facilities clean and well-maintained in exchange for a campsite. Other duties may include greeting visitors and interpreting park rules, trail maintenance, grounds-keeping, cleaning restrooms and facilities, and opening and closing the park. 32 hours minimum per week per site required.

Volunteer sites have water, electric (50/30 amp) , septic hook-ups (most sites) and will accomodate up to a 40′ RV with a MAX slide out of 12′. Now accepting applications for October, November, and December of 2020. If you are interested in joining the Koreshan team, we would love to hear from you!
