DESCRIPTION
This 270 site campground is located in the Furnace Creek area of Death Valley National Park. There is no park staff on site at this first-come, first-serve campground. Hosts are responsible for performing compliance checks two to three times a day plus the other duties mentioned above.
The host sites are full hookups but a surge protector is highly recommended since there can be power fluctuations. Hosts will be reimbursed for propane use.
Most cell phone carriers work in the Furnace Creek area but data use can be slow during high periods of visitation. There are some amenities located half a mile from the campground including a few restaurants, small convenience store, gas station, post office, laundry facilities, pool and golf course. WIFI is not provided but hosts can pay for internet access at the private resort located a half mile from the campground. The closest full sized grocery store, pharmacy, and medical services is located 65 miles away in Pahrump, NV.
