Job Title: Front Desk Customer Service & Cleaning
Wage: $14/hour
Location: Texarkana KOA
Position Type: Part-Time (24 hours per week, potential for Full-Time 40 hours per week)
Job Overview:
Texarkana KOA is seeking a reliable front desk employee for customer service and cleaning duties. The role is initially part-time, with the possibility of expanding to full-time. The position requires working weekends (Friday through Tuesday) and offers a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in hospitality and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Reservations:
Answer inbound calls and create reservations for guests at Texarkana KOA. Handle walk-in reservations and respond to reservation emails.
Gather all necessary information when making RV reservations and follow the rate-quoting procedure. Field questions from incoming and on-site guests about local restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc. Handle payments for long-term RV guests. Check guests in and out in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. Promote and sell Camp Store products. Handle cash transactions and maintain a clean work area.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
Bathhouse Cleaning: Clean laundry area, men’s and women’s bathrooms (toilets, mirrors, walls, doors, sinks, showers, and common areas). Collect trash and set it out for grounds crew pickup.
Cabin Cleaning: Clean and maintain 2 on-site cabins (vacuum floors, change linens, clean windows and surfaces). Launder linens and blankets after each guest stay. Update guest welcome board for each reservation to ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Job Requirements:
Availability: Must be able to work weekends (Friday through Tuesday).
Work Hours: Initially part-time (24 hours/week), with potential to increase to full-time (40 hours/week).
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform cleaning duties and stand for extended periods.
