About Camp Trinidad:
Camp Trinidad RV Resort is a locally owned, revitalized 13-acre property along California’s Northern Coast. With 53 RV and tent sites, ocean views, and close proximity to redwoods and beaches, we welcome guests seeking comfort, beauty, and connection with nature. We’re looking for a friendly, skilled, and hardworking Camp Host & Maintenance Technician to join our team and live on-site year-round.
Position Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who loves working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a beautiful and functional property, and enjoys engaging with people. You’ll be the face of Camp Trinidad after hours and the hands that keep it running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Hospitality & Guest Services:
Serve as an approachable, on-site host after office hours
Greet guests, help with check-ins, and answer general questions
Enforce quiet hours and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests
Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude with all visitors
Maintenance & Groundskeeping:
Landscape maintenance: mowing, weed whacking, clearing brush, and general grounds upkeep
Basic plumbing, electrical, and facility repairs
Clean and restock restrooms, showers, laundry room, and common areas
Maintain hot tub area, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and guest safety
Daily trash collection and property tidiness checks
Facility Oversight:
Monitor septic, well water, propane, and electrical systems
Report larger maintenance issues to management
Assist with seasonal prep, cleanup, and general upkeep
Requirements:
Experience with general maintenance, landscaping, and light plumbing/electrical
Experience with hot tub or pool maintenance a plus (training can be provided)
Must be a people person – friendly, courteous, and guest-focused
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be reliable, self-motivated, and organized
RV park or hospitality experience preferred
Background check required
Compensation & Housing:
Hourly Wage: $23–$26/hour (based on experience)
On-Site Lodging Provided as Partial Compensation:
Option for a full hookup RV site (if you have your own RV)
OR housing in a park model unit on-site
Utilities and high-speed internet included
Lodging available at reduced or included rate based on total compensation package
