Heart of Texas RV Park is a quiet, short & extended-stay-friendly park nestled in town beside the Selensky family farm in Brady, Texas. We aren’t a resort — we’re a peaceful backyard stay with vintage charm, native plants, and small town appeal serving both pass-thru and extended-stay guests who appreciate space, stillness, and community.
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Park Host Couple to help us care for this place and the people who pass through it.
🌿 Position Summary
As Park Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of the park — greeting guests, helping with check-ins, keeping common areas tidy, and assisting with light maintenance. You’ll live on-site in your own RV and be a consistent, steady presence for the park community.
This is a perfect role for someone who loves people, nature, and the quiet rhythm of small town life.
🛠 Responsibilities
Guest Relations
• Greet and check in new guests (occasional weekend/evening arrivals)
• Share park rules and area info with warmth and clarity
• Offer help when guests need a hand — always with kindness
Groundskeeping & Maintenance
• Light landscaping (watering native plants, some mowing/weeding [Lisa likes to push mow for the exercise, but needs a second hand to hit the big spaces with the zero turn or riding mower)
• Clean outdoor seating areas
• Keep community areas (Cactus House, laundry room, outdoor benches) tidy and welcoming
• Report larger repairs or maintenance issues to owner
Operations Support
• Assist with basic reservations, phone messages, or emails (if asked)
• Help monitor quiet hours and promote community respect
• Support occasional projects: planting days, small repairs, signage updates, etc.

💡 Position Details:

• Site includes: Full hookups (30/50 amp), Wi-Fi, free laundry access
• Expected hours: ~15–20 hrs/week (flexible; varies by season)
• Duration: 3-6 month minimum preferred, with potential to extend
