JOB DESCRIPTION:
Smith Springs Recreation Area is located on J. Percy Priest Lake in Antioch, TN. It is a highly utilized park, averaging approximately 85k visitors per year. There is a picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 50 guests as well as multiple other picnic sites and includes an adjacent boat ramp. Smith Springs Recreation Area has one volunteer position to be filled through the remainder of the 2025 recreation season and possibly beyond. An RV site with water, electrical, and sewer service will be provided (Must work at least 20 hours per week to qualify for provided campsite). Self-contained camping unit is recommended. The volunteer will be required to open and close the park daily 7 days a week, monitor the park during working hours, interact with guests, educating them about Title 36, and assist Rangers as needed.
