Job Description
Enumclaw Expo RV Camp Host receives the use of a spacious RV space, shed and utilities in exchange for light duties at our park. Park hosts are required to live on site and be present over the weekend. Enumclaw Expo RV Park Camp-Host Position is year-round.
Expo Center campground host must reside in their own RV at the Expo RV Campground.
Expo RV Park does not have sewer utilities, except the Camp Host site has a 300 gallon sewer tank. It is the host’s responsibility to have it pumped as necessary (typically 3-4 times a year). Must pass a background check.
Amenities at the camp host site include:
• Storage Shed
• Private Sauna
• Private picnic table area
• Fire Pit
• Large spacious site
• Landscaped area
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Greet and assist visitors, making sure they either have booked through Rover Pass or have put a pay envelope in the lock box.
• Answer questions on registration procedures
• Keep track of all campers and number of nights they are in park
• Promote a clean and tidy campground by performing minor maintenance tasks such as picking up litter, mowing grass, weed control, raking campsite areas, pulling nails from tables, posts, trees, sweeping or brushing off picnic tables, checking and moving sprinklers, and keeping bulletin board information up-to-date
• Placing and removing “Reserved” signs
• Provide information about the park and local community
• Being observant for activities within the park requiring immediate attention
• Contact Expo Management or law enforcement when emergencies occur
• Enforce RV park dog policy
• Work closely with the Expo Office Manager in turning in pay envelopes daily, and collecting late fees when necessary.
• Attend Expo Staff Meeting once a week
• Expo Campgrounds uses Rover Pass for online reservations. Some knowledge of computer and online is necessary to keep up with campers coming in and leaving the campgrounds, especially on weekends when office is closed.
