Job Description
Immediately seeking a camp host for campgrounds within a popular rock climbing area known as Shelf Road, near Canon City, Colorado. Camp Host must be prepared for boondocking, as there are no hookups, trash or water available, but there is a black water hookup.
Duties include working with BLM staff to manage visitors between two campgrounds this fall with the expectations about about 30 hours of work a week. Small litter pickup, cleaning fire rings, cleaning vault toilets, and working with campers are all expected.
Looking for host to start immediately, working through November. The climate here is very pleasant through Fall, usually averaging in the 60s through October.
