JOB DESCRIPTION:
Come join our team at Wallisville Lake Project! Wallisville Lake Project is looking for volunteers to assist with the Visitor Center. Duties include answering phone calls, providing information about the park as well as directions to callers, takes messages and relay them to appropriate personnel, and keep the front desk area neat and organized. Must be able to use common office and communication equipment (multi-line telephones, desk top computers, copiers, fax machines, postage machine, etc.). Work is performed in an office that is visible to the public. Work is primarily sedentary and takes place in a low-traffic, well-lighted, and climate-controlled space. Volunteer must also be able to fill out a Volunteer Daily Work Log and email a copy at the beginning of each month to the Volunteer Coordinator.
Project is looking for volunteer(s) who can commit to six months or a full year. Volunteers will need to provide their own RV or trailer. This opportunity includes a full hook-up RV site with water, sewer, electric (50amp max) in exchange for 25+ hrs./wk./person. Reliable cell phone service with most major providers is available. Wi-Fi is not available at the RV sites, but location is suitable for your own Wi-Fi hotspots. Also included: all necessary uniform components, and safety equipment (vest, hard hat, etc.)
