JOB DESCRIPTION:
Spend the summer on beautiful Hartwell Lake situated on the border between northeast Georgia and upstate South Carolina. The US Army Corps of Engineers at Hartwell Lake is seeking an outgoing and active couple to serve as campsite cleaners at Watsadler Campground in Hartwell Georgia. Position available April 1, 2026, and runs through Oct 31, 2026. Duties include cleaning out fire rings, grills, raking/blowing debris off impact pad, and documenting/reporting maintenance needs. In exchange for 35 hours of service per week per couple, volunteers are provided “top of the line” free full hook-up campsite in the volunteer village. Volunteers must provide their own self-contained hard-sided RV.
