Job Description
Tamworth Campground, a Modern America Campgrounds property, is a family campground situated on the edge of the Swift River in Tamworth, New Hampshire.
It is a moderately sized campground, with 108 sites – a combination of seasonal sites, 5 rental trailers, full hook-up sites, water and electric sites, water only sites, and walk-in tent sites. Castle in the Clouds, White Lake and Lake Chocorua, rivers, ponds, trout streams, and hiking trails are all within 10 – 30 minutes of the campground. It’s an outdoor adventurer’s ideal setting.
The campground is under the second year of new management and is in need of workamper couples or singles for the following timeframes and hours:
– 2 people for April 25, 2026 – September 7, 2026
– 2 people for April 25, 2026 – October 14, 2026
– 32 hours per week with 2 consecutive days off each week
Job Descriptions:
– 2 Workampers: Office/Housekeeping – answering telephone, reservations (Campspot), assisting with planned activities, camp store sales, and other related office duties as needed. Housekeeping of up to 5 rental trailers when needed.
– 2 Workampers: Maintenance / Groundskeeping – preparing campsites for guest arrivals, light mowing and weed whacking, raking leaves and pine needles, changing light bulbs, replacing breakers, replacing water spigots, and other light maintenance duties as needed. Cleaning and maintenance of 2 bathhouses and bathrooms.
Compensation:
– All hours paid at a rate of $15.00 – $16.00 per hour based on skills and experience
– Full hook-up RV site (a value of $4,100.00)
