About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, people-focused Park Manager to oversee the operations, guest experience, and community spirit of Lazy Day Campground.
This is a live-on-site position suited for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys a variety of indoor and outdoor work, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, fun, and welcoming environment.
The Park Manager leads day-to-day operations, coordinates events and activities, manages seasonal staff, and works with ownership to maintain Lazy Day’s excellent reputation. The role is busiest from spring through fall, with a quieter off-season (mid-November to early-March) focused on light upkeep and planning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day campground operations and guest services
Manage reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest communications
Coordinate, schedule, and supervise seasonal or part-time staff
Organize and host campground events — especially major holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween) and occasional themed evenings or kids’ activities
Maintain facilities and ensure cleanliness of restrooms, showers, and common areas (light cleaning as needed)
Handle vendor coordination and small inventory
Monitor budgets, expenses, and report to ownership
Maintain the park’s friendly, community-oriented reputation through exceptional guest service
Provide on-site presence for emergencies or after-hours needs
Light seasonal prep during the off-season
Ideal Candidate
Experience in campground, hospitality, or property management
Enthusiastic, organized, and outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
Capable of both administrative and hands-on work
Comfortable leading small teams and coordinating small events
Enjoys interacting with guests and fostering a welcoming community environment
Computer-literate (booking systems, email, spreadsheets)
Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to live on-site year-round
