JOB DESCRIPTION:
C&O Canal National Historical Park is recruiting Antietam Creek Camp Hosts for the 2026 Season (April–October).
The role of the Antietam Creek Camp Host is to facilitate positive visitor interactions while keeping a watchful eye on Antietam Creek Campground. The camp host will monitor the 20 campsites for compliance with park regulations, perform light site maintenance tasks, and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the park.
The camp host is accommodated with their own spacious campsite, which includes a picnic table and fire ring. The camp host’s site also includes water, septic, and 50 amp electrical hook ups. The camp host must have their own RV.
This position requires moderate physical activity. Applicants are expected to commit to at least 1 month of service.
