Campground Camp Host

Pohick Bay Regional Park is seeing multiple Camp Host for the upcoming 2026 spring, summer and fall season (start dates flexible). The Camp Host is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to campground guests, assisting with recreational programming and maintaining the cleanliness of the campground facilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to live on site at Pohick Bay Regional Park – one of the few parks in close proximity to Washington DC- while enjoying its amenities and location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Campground Program Support:

Assist with weekend campground programs such as Bingo night, Movie Night, crafts, Holiday based programs and other recreational activities.

Facility Maintenance:

Help clean and maintain park cabins, restrooms and other campground facilities to ensure a clean, safe and pleasant environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or outdoor recreation preferred

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Must be able to perform light physical tasks such as cleaning or program set up.

Schedule requirements:

-Friday- Monday, up to 20 hours per week

-Holiday Availability: Must be able (with some flexibility) to work major holiday weekends including Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Halloween

-Free campsite with water and electric hookup (convenient dumping locations near by) for the duration of the contract
