Job Description
Mountaineer Campground in Blount County, Tennessee is seeking a management couple or two-person team for a full-time, on-site position overseeing daily campground operations and maintenance. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals looking to live and work on-site while managing a well-established campground and delivering a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities include front-office and guest services such as managing reservations, check-ins, guest communications, and issue resolution, as well as supervising seasonal staff and coordinating with Marketing to support occupancy goals. Administrative duties include maintaining records, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with campground policies and local regulations. Maintenance responsibilities include caring for the grounds, cabins, pool, and facilities; performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and landscaping work; monitoring pool operations and propane levels; completing routine repairs; and assisting with improvement projects as needed.
Qualified candidates should have 3–5 years of campground, hospitality, or property management experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks when required. Campspot experience is a plus. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are required.
On-site housing is provided. Compensation is offered as a total combined package of $40,000–$50,000 DOE, structured as a combination of salary, housing, and additional benefits, including storage space, access to campground amenities, and paid vacation and personal days.
