Job Description
Gunlock State Park is now accepting applications for Campground Hosts for the 2026 camping season.
This opportunity is ideal for an individual or couple who enjoys nature, engaging with campers, assisting with facility cleaning and maintenance, and contributing to a positive park experience for the public. Responsibilities include working 25 hours per week, cleaning and maintaining campsites and campground restrooms, greeting guests, providing basic campground and park information, and maintaining contact with park management and staff.
Preference will be given to volunteers who can spend the entire season (April – October) at the Park, the option to extend through the winter months and into next year may be available. Campground Hosts receive a complimentary full-hookup campsite for the duration of their service.
