JOB DESCRIPTION:
John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir is seeking a volunteer(s) to work in Day Use Area and Campground Gatehouse. Volunteer(s) will assist with visitors using park boat ramps, day use areas, and campgrounds.
Detailed Description:
John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir – US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking volunteers to work in a gatehouse at Buffalo Park during the summer of 2026. Gatehouse position at Buffalo Park will require the volunteer(s) to learn and work with the recreation.gov computer system. Volunteer(s) will work 24 hours a week. The duration of this position lasts from April 27, 2026, to September 30, 2026 and includes a full hookup site (electric, water, sewer) on Kerr Lake. Individuals/partners welcome to apply.
