Job Description
Campground hosts are needed in three separate campgrounds to assist with park operations. This spectacular mountain park consists of 71,000 acres and the largest moose herd in Colorado. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, greeting campers, light maintenance, cabin and camp site maintenance, entrance station/visitor center staffing, and assisting the interpretive staff with promoting and possibly presenting interpretive programs and hikes. Electrical hookups are available at the Ranger Lakes Campground; there are also two trailer sites at the park’s maintenance compound with full hookups. Camp hosts must commit to volunteering a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the majority of those hours occurring on weekends and holidays.
