RV Park Camp Host

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.    Check-in patrons for camp site and shower use.

 

2.    Assist with maintenance and repair issues in buildings, grounds, and sites. To include, light handyman duties and clearing of dead limbs.

 

3.    Maintain quiet hours and orderly conduct of patrons, as needed, through calm and pleasant demeanor.  Assistance is available through supervisor.

 

4.    Maintain Park Camp cleanliness in common areas (e.g., trash pickup)

 

5.    Mow lawn and weed park areas, as needed to maintain a well-groomed appearance.

 

6.    Maintain shower and toilet cleanliness (e.g., resupply sanitizer and toilet paper that are supplied by the City of Leadore)

 

7.    Ensure fee envelopes from patrons for shower and camp site use are placed in collection box, reporting funds received monthly to the Clerk staff

 

8.    Change the bathroom codes as needed.

 

9.    Report supply needs by notifying City Clerk.

 

10.                  Park is anticipated to be open from April 1 to October 31.

 

11.                  The Rodeo grounds are a City rental facility and may not be used for dry camping without written approval by City staff.  The Park Host will promptly report to City staff in the event he/she observes apparent dry camping.

 

12.  Park Host is required to inform the City in advance of any extended absences (a day or more) to ensure continuity of services to the park occupants.

 

13.  Park Host may not pursue any other employment or paid services without notification to City in advance that may impact park services normally expected or compete with City businesses.

 

14.  The concession kitchen and other internal facilities are not to be made available to park visitors/campers and may not be used by park host for income producing activities (concession is not licensed for food service use).

 

Location and Amenities:

 

1.    Host site is located in a designated area of the Leadore City Park, directly off of Highway 28, Leadore, Idaho.

 

2.    A free campsite will be provided for the Host, who must have a self-contained RV or trailer. Cleanliness and upkeep of personal site is important.

 

3.    Water and electricity are provided to Host.  Host is responsible for providing own electrical and electricity connections to sources.

 

4.    Full enclosed bathroom facilities are located immediately adjacent to the Park Host site.

 

5.    Tools and supplies will be furnished by the City of Leadore.

 

6.    Located on the Continental Divide Trail, Nez Perce Trail, Lewis and Clark Biway, and the Home valley of Sacagawea.

 

7.    Pay is $400 plus 25% of monthly park income.
