Job Description
Douglas County Parks seeking Camp Host ASAP for Chief Miwaleta Campground.
Key Responsibilities:
Visitor Services: Greet and welcome campers, provide information about the park, local attractions, and rules, and assist with basic registration needs.
Campground Maintenance: Pick up litter, clean fire pits, sweep common areas, and perform light landscaping like raking and weeding.
Facility Upkeep: Clean and restock public restrooms (counters, floors, supplies) and service cabins as needed.
Reporting: Alert staff to safety concerns, rule violations, vandalism, or facility issues, completing incident reports when necessary.
Ambassadorship: Maintain a positive attitude, promote park rules and safety, and act as a helpful resource for all park users
