Park Caretaker

Clatsop County seeks a Park Caretaker for Westport County Park, near Westport, OR on the Columbia River, 25 miles east of historic Astoria, Oregon. The site is a recently completed boating facility. There is a two-lane boat ramp with 120’ boarding float, a 250’ short-term tie-up dock with ADA kayak launch, and two stall flush restroom. The Park is day use only, no overnight camping. The parking lot includes 46 boat trailer parking spots and 32 single car parking spots.  Duties include visitor assistance, custodial services, and minor landscape maintenance. The County provides a 30-amp & 50-amp full hookup RV site; electric, water and sewer included (no phone or internet).  Position begins March 1, 2026 and ends February 28, 2027. Caretaker compensation is Full Hookup Only. Two consecutive days off per week, flexible with more time as needed. Packet is posted at clatsopcounty.gov .
