DATES: 11/5/2020 – 3/15/2021
Volunteer(s) required for general work during winter months.
Volunteer couple required to assist with various work around the project. This may include maintenance items, minor construction, interpretation, and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES
General work tasks as assigned by ranger staff or provided via volunteer work order. Tasks may include indoor and outdoor work, work may be strenuous and require lifting weight up to 50lbs. Tasks will range from maintenance to interpretive programming. Individuals should be ready for a range of tasking and should notify volunteer coordinator if there is any issue with completing types of tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
No particular. Helpful skills: Power Tools, minor handy work, public speaking, education, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to do work in uneven areas.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Park locations, asphalt and concrete surfaces primarily. Working independently of USACE staff.
Campsite with full hook-ups (30/50 amp electric, sewer, water) provided for 20 hours of work per week. Must have own self contained camper unit with shower facilities installed (no showers available for volunteer use). Will need to use local laundry mats in town or own laundry machines in camper.
