JOB DESCRIPTION:
Do you like getting your hands dirty and working to accomplish tasks? Come be our maintenance volunteer here at Lewisville Lake! You will work side by side with our maintenance crew to fix various things around the parks and lake. Applicants should know basics of plumbing, electric, and general maintenance. Training opportunities for welding, heavy equipment operation and power tools are available, but prior knowledge is a plus! Must be available to jump in and help with maintenance emergencies. A campsite is your new home in exchange for 20 hours of work per week. Come join our hardworking team to keep Lewisville Lake in tip-top shape!
Maintenance volunteers will be provided with a designated campsite but must provide their own camper. Camper must be in good condition and site must be kept neat. Water, electricity, and sewage will be provided. This site is in a campground with other volunteers. The shop in the campground has a washer and dryer, which are maintained by the volunteers and are not property of the Corps.
