Want to enjoy your summer months overlooking beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake? As a park host at Possum Kingdom State Park, you can! Our park is host to boaters, campers, fishermen, hikers, birders and kayakers. Park host will enjoy a park staff committed to providing a first rate experience of the outdoors for their visitiors.
The park host site can accomodate a wide variety of RV’s and is provided with 20/30/50 amp, water and sewer hookups. We require a minimum of 24 hours of assigned duties from the lead ranger per week. (30 hours per couple)
Duties include but are not limited to:
Campsite Maintenance
Cleaning Restrooms
Grounds/Facility Maintenance
Litter Pickup
Visitor Assistance
Site checks/Site Marker distribution
