The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks & Resorts is seeking a Driver to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
As a Driver you will be responsible for driving and transporting associates to various locations in and outside of the park. Our ideal candidate is a licensed driver with a clean driving record, can pass a DOT physical, and has experience transporting people.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
- Transport associates in a safe manner.
- Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and reports any mechanical or safety problems to management.
- Required to wash and vacuum vans on a regular schedule.
- Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
- Maintains accurate record keeping of passengers census.
- Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
- Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- Valid driver license with clean driving record.
- Must be able to safely operate and drive a van.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to main a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night.
- Must be able to sit for long periods.
- Must be able to stand and bend.
- Must be able to hear traffic and security radio.
- Must be able to speak clearly and communicate well.
