The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks & Resorts is seeking a Cash Room Driver to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
As a Cash Room Driver you will be responsible for driving and transporting money and safeguarding money during transit. Our ideal candidate is a licensed driver and has experience working in a security or loss prevention role.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
- Must be comfortable securing, handling and transporting large sums of currency.
- Safe transport and accounting of funds to and from assigned locations.
- Follow policies and procedures, maintaining asset and personnel protection.
- Accurate and detailed record keeping of funds transactions and transports.
- Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication of unsafe or dangerous conditions related to equipment or operations to management. Security and confidentiality of proprietary data and information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
Physical Requirements
- Able to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for brief periods of time.
