Host (Chuck Lewis SWA)

The location of the RV hookups are on our Chuck Lewis SWA at 35500 CR 14, Steamboat Springs, CO 80428. The RV spot is within minutes of Steamboat Springs where there are numerous urban-type activities, and is less than an hour from the Zirkels and Flat tops for hiking-type activities. There are also 4 State Parks within 45 minutes, all with lakes. The Yampa River will be 50 yards from your RV so there are also lots of fishing opportunities.

The properties the hosts would be working on are Adams SWA, Sarvis Creek SWA, Chuck Lewis SWA, Emerald Mountain SWA, Christina SWA, Yampa River SWA, the Herold Shooting Range, and the Hayden Shooting Range.

Volunteer duties include mowing, running a weed eater, irrigating, picking up trash, fence maintenance, and cleanup/maintenance at the two shooting ranges. The person or persons should be in reasonably good physical condition so they are able to do the above duties. Experience with ATVs, driving a manual transmission, and some agricultural experience preferred.
