Seeking to fill two (2) General Maintenance / Park Host positions from May 15 – Sep 15, 2021. Volunteers must be a team of 2, sharing a RV campsite.
Volunteers will be working with Recreation Operations of the Willamette Valley Project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Fern Ridge Lake.
Duties include light maintenance, visitor assistance, light paperwork, gate opening and closings, equipment operations such as weed trimming, backpack blowing, and litter pickup, etc. Duration early spring and late summer. All duties will be based on skill set and availability. Background check is required to perform duties.
DUTIES
Duties include light maintenance, visitor assistance, light paperwork, gate opening and closings, equipment operations such as weed trimming, backpack blowing, and litter pickup etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
General Maintenance skills are needed including working with small engine equipment, able to safely open and close gates twice a day in remote areas (morning and afternoon) and visitor assistance using good communication and interpersonal skills.
