Bandy Creek Campground provides a place that is just on the edge of being remote, yet offering modern conveniences of flush toilets, hot showers, water and electric hookups. There are both tent and RV camping as well as two group camps. The campsites are spacious and some provide plenty of shade.
The park offers boundless recreational opportunities such as mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, fishing, and hunting. A horse stable is located near the campground as well as a swimming pool (open on weekends and holidays), volleyball court, and playgrounds.
Summer is hot and humid, fall is stunningly beautiful with color, winter is usually mild with occasionally snow accumulation and spring brings beautiful wildflowers.
Typical duties may include: Being a point of contact for visitors, collecting money, meeting and greeting campers, correct minor infractions, promoting park safety, light maintenance duties, trail maintenance, promoting and assisting with campground programs, staffing the visitor center, assisting in interpretive programs, and other duties that may arise. Assist with cleanup and maintenance of restrooms.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
Ability to maintain a set schedule and turn in progress reports of duties performed.
Work a minimum of 32 hours per week (including weekends and holidays).

Work performed outside during inclement weather such as rain showers, hot/humid weather and in the winter possible snow and ice. If working in the nearby visitor center, the work will be sedimentary in an air conditioned building.
