Burnsville Lake, Riffle Run Campground – Mowing and String Trimming

A mowing and string trimming volunteer is a very important volunteer at Burnsville Lake. During recent years, dwindling budgets and reduced project staffing have caused many necessary jobs to go undone. The mowing and string trimming volunteer is not a replacement for a government maintenance worker but provides a very valuable service by performing essential work that the Corps of Engineers maintenance staff will not get time to accomplish. Mowing and string trimming volunteers shall work a minimum of 24 hours per week in order to keep Riffle Run Campground in a neat and professional appearance.

DUTIES
Person is responsible for working a minimum of 24 hours per week mowing and string trimming in Riffle Run Campground.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ideally the person will have experience operating a lawn tractor and string trimmer.
