The Campground Host is a very important volunteer at Burnsville Lake. In many cases, the host is the first contact our customers see. This person needs to be on-site and readily available to meet the customers’ needs, including making customers feel welcome and handling situations that may arise that the host can handle. Often, the host is the person the customer gets to know and is the liaison between the customer and the Corps of Engineers. The host is responsible for overseeing the self-registration system to assure campers pay use fees. The host is also responsible for communicating park rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
DUTIES
· Person is responsible serving as campground host at Riffle Run Campground or Bulltown Campground. Greets customers, monitors park usage, assures campers pay required fees, monitors for compliance with rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Ideally the person will have experience in dealing with the public and recordkeeping. Computer skills are a plus.
