LOCATION: Jasper Point (Prineville Reservoir)
DATES: December 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021
DESCRIPTION: * This position is a winter host position located at Prineville Rerservoir campground- Not at Jasper Point Campground.; Roles and Responsibilities:; Provide excellent customer service to visitors by welcoming, engaging, answering questions and providing information. Responsibilities include cleaning sites, restocking bathroom paper products, litter picking, money handling from firewood, ice and fire starter sales, attending monthly safety meetings, advisement of park rules, special projects and work as agreed upon with staff. Responsibilities also include the use of tools and vehicles to accomplish daily and special tasks in accordance with safe practices.
After January first of 2021, this Campground Host position will also be a Cabin Cleaning Host. Campground use in the winter months is reduced, while Cabin use is steady.; Qualifications/Desired Attributes:; Requirements include a valid driver’s license and background check. Ability to carry up to 20lbs for short distances and walk up and down stairs and hills if necessary.
