Fuel Dock Attendant
Callville Bay Marina, located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area and managed by Guest Services, is now hiring a full time Fuel Dock Attendant. Candidates must be highly customer service oriented and comfortable working around water.

JOB SUMMARY
The Fuel Dock Attendant is responsible for assisting customers in the docking process and for providing fuel and pump-out services to privately owned and company owned vessels in a professional and courteous manner, in order to provide for a positive customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Aid boaters in docking and securing their vessels at the fuel dock.
- Determine boaters’ needs for fuel, pump-out, fresh water, petroleum products and accessories.
- Collect payment for goods and services and properly ring up sales in cash register.
- Follow all safety requirements and precautions before proceeding with fueling process.
- Hand boater the requested fuel hose and return it to the pump when fueling is completed.
- Assist boaters with pump‑out equipment.
- Provide customer service in a friendly, helpful manner and as quickly as possible.
- Be thoroughly familiar with company’s safety and environmental programs.
- Perform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and promptly report any deviations of environmental policy to their supervisor.
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Pump out sewer holding tanks and add chemicals.
- Pump fuel into boat fuel tanks.
- Fill fresh water tanks with fresh water.
- Sweep, mop all docks in rental areas to keep clean and free of litter.
- Collect dock carts from marina and parking lots, return and organize carts in proper staging areas.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all safety procedures.
- Perform work in a manner protective of human health and the environment and report any deviations of environmental policy to the supervisor or Manager on Duty.
- Check daily for trip hazards, such as protruding nails, screws, loose boards, boarding ramps, etc.
- Check mooring lines on boats and replace as needed.
- Power wash decks as needed
- Check daily and throughout the day for trash cans that need to be emptied.
- Perform Porter duties as needed such as assist customers to load, unload and transport personal belongings and supplies to/from vehicles and houseboats.
- Know and follow all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Program policies and procedures.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Provide information to customers regarding resort, general area, and resort activities.
- Perform boat and/or PWC orientations to train and instruct customers on the safe and proper use of all rental boats and equipment and obtain customer acknowledgment for completed training.
