Wildlife Refuge Volunteers

San Bernardino and Leslie Canyon NWRs are looking for volunteers for both summer and winter seasons. In most cases, volunteer opportunities are outdoors assisting the refuge biologist or refuge maintenance personnel. Some office work may be available; housekeeping, data entry, filing system maintenance, etc…

Volunteer activities would include: assisting biologist in data collection and formatting as well as habitat management using mechanical and chemical means. Additional refuge maintenance opportunities include trail clean up, pond rehabilitation, sing inventory and replacement, and other seasonal duties.
