The Details:

Positions start late-May – June 2021 and extend through mid- to late-September (dates depend on Location).

  • Start Date: late-May – June, 2021
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal (ideally full season or early/late season)
  • Schedule Varies: 32 to 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of the Dorm Cleaner/Public Area Attendant

  • Clean & maintain all employee areas which include dorms, employee dining rooms, showers, restrooms, hallways & stairwells, recreational, laundry and common areas.
  • Clean and maintain all public restrooms.
  • Empty garbage, ashtrays, and recycling from employee and public areas.
  • Assists room attendants and houseperson if necessary.
  • Assists with banquet and meeting room set-up and tear down if necessary.
  • Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Our Dorm Cleaner/Public Attendant will have a desire to maintain high level of cleanliness. This position requires associate to enjoy working independently.  Dorm Cleaner/Public Attendant must be neat and polished. Seeking candidates that has a keen eye for detail, organized, and ability to complete all assign tasks in a timely manner. Must have the aptitude to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to seven hours per shift.
  • Repetitive motion of arms, wrists, and hands for up to seven hours per shift.
  • Requires frequent bending, climbing, and squatting/kneeling.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Working safely with required chemicals.
