SEASONAL CAMP HOST NEEDED!
The Benton County Natural Areas, Parks & Events Department is looking for a camp host (individual or couple) to oversee Salmonberry Campground and Alsea Guard Station. This is a seasonal position from May 1st through November 1st.
Salmonberry Campground
The Campground is located off of Hwy 34, on the Alsea River, 32 miles west of Corvallis, Oregon.The Campground and Guard Station are just a 40-minute drive to the coast and the work schedule is flexible during the week.At the campground there are 28 total campsites (13 with electrical RV-hookups), 1 cabin, 1 yurt, flush toilets, and pay showers.The Guard Station is just 5 ½ miles northeast of the campground.It is a 2-bedroom, 1 ½ bath house that sleeps 7 people.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Greet campers and offer assistance to arriving guests. Monitor guest activities to ensure compliance with park policies and contact violators to inform them of infractions and needed corrective action. Other host duties include cleaning of restrooms and overnight facilities, keeping campsites tidy, and providing excellent customer service.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.Must have an RV with the ability to live on-site.Strong customer relation skills required. Both the Campground and Guard Station are set up on an online reservation system, so computer experience is preferred.
Rate of Pay:
Hosts have a free site, water, electricity, sewer, local phone, internet, laundry facilities, and will be paid a monthly stipend.
