DESCRIPTION:
Site host for Hult Pond Dispersed Camping area
This site, sometimes referred to as Horton Lake, Hult Marsh, Hult Reservoir, or Mill Pond, was developed in the early 1900s for logging operations. The reservoir and surrounding wetland is about 40 acres and supports a rich diversity of wildlife, fish, and plant species. This recreation site is popular for activities such as fishing, camping, hiking, horseback riding, and scenic driving.
There are 6 dispersed campsite surrounding the lake, a small non-motorized boat launch and parking area, and hiking trails in the area. This is a non-traditional camp host opportunity, as there is less daily interaction with campers than other sites, and the Host area consists of an RV pad only, no other hooks are provided. Hosts must be fully self contained.

A free campsite, daily reimbursement to offset incidental costs, and propane reimbursement. The opportunity to live and work in this area is a once in a lifetime experience.
MAP TO WORK SITE:
The volunteer campground host will:
· provide information to campers about site and area resources,
· monitor campers to ensure compliance with established regulations,
· report maintenance issues,
· provide minor upkeep in the area,
· notify appropriate staff in case of an emergency,
· Communicate effectively with staff and the public.
If the host is interested, there may also be opportunities to assist with leading volunteer work groups.
Hosts will volunteer 32 hours a week with the primary focus being Thursday-Sunday.
Requirements:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes to meet people of all ages and backgrounds, loves working with people, and enjoys variety in their days. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with people of all ages and abilities and have strong communication skills. The volunteer will be working without daily supervision and must be self-motivated.

WORK SITE:
A semi-developed dispersed camping area surround a small mill pond. The area is surrounded by Tribal lands and the host needs to be a person who is capable of working VERY independently, and have the ability to solves issues while awaiting assistance.
