Volunteer Activities• Office/Clerical • Other • Visitor Information • General Assistance Description249 Pass Sales Room Volunteer: Volunteer Duties: Will work a rotating shift during the recreation season (April through September) from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Expect to work 2 to 3 days a week during the recreation season. During holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day) the project office will be closed and you will work at one of our day use parks during that time. Must be able to clear a Federal Background Check. Will be responsible for operating the 249 room pass sales office. This includes selling USACE Annual Passes, selling ATB Annual and Lifetime Passes, and exchanging credit card receipts sold in Day-Use Parks for USACE Annual Passes. Volunteers will also mail out passes that are sold over the phone or receipts received in the mail. Volunteers must provide their own uniform. This includes khaki pants or shorts (knee length) with red or white polos. A name tag will be provided by the project. Special Skills: Must have exceptional customer service skills. Previous experience selling federal park passes is a bonus. Ability to speak Spanish highly desired.
