DESCRIPTION:
Campground Host in one of five campgrounds on the Watauga Ranger District.
The Watauga Ranger District is looking for energetic and motivated Campground Hosts for the 2021 camping season. The duties will be performed under a Volunteer Service Agreement with the U.S. Forest Service -Cherokee National Forest. The Watauga district, and the campgrounds, are located in extreme Northeast TN, on or near Watauga Lake and South Holston Lake.
Welcomes the public and provides visitor information. Posts reservations on campsites, empties fire rings, cleans bathrooms, and other campground maintenance activities. Campgrounds vary in size, from 11 campsites up to 70 campsites.
Must have own travel trailer / RV. Be available to perform duties on specified days, including weekends and holidays.
