DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a highly motivated camphost for the beautiful Mica Bay boater park near Coeur D’Alene, ID.
The Bureau of Land Management, Coeur d’Alene Field Office is seeking a responsible volunteer to serve as Camp Host at the Mica Bay Boater Park for the summer of 2021. With everything going on in the world, Mica Bay is a great place to practice social distancing while enjoying the beautiful Coeur d’Alene area!
DUTIES
Provide information about the site/area to the public.
Perform routine grounds and facilities maintenance.
Monitor visitor use, keep visitor log, and provide information to BLM staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Physically able to use power tools such as mowers, weed eaters, etc.
Communications skills – must be good with people!
Ability to work independently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
All work is outdoors in a developed recreation area. The area includes a pavilion, campsites, large open grass areas for recreation activities, a horse shoe area, two vault toilets, a pumphouse, two boating docks, and a small beach/swimming area.
