DESCRIPTION: Seeking to fill 1 Park Host Position from May 15 – September 15, 2021.
VOLUNTEER PARK HOST POSITION AT WILSON LAKE, KS: Lucas Park Host Position available for May 15 – September 15. Wilson Lake, “The Clearest Lake in Kansas,” is located in north-central Kansas with beautiful landscapes, rolling hills, and geologic formations. Host will serve as point-of-contact for visitors and assist with managing self-pay campground. Volunteer site has water, electricity, sewer hookups, and utility shed for storage.
DUTIES
Host will serve as point-of-contact for visitors and assist with managing self-pay campground.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment is a Class A campground. Mostly independent work with some assistance from USACE staff. Will be outside performing campground checks for campers and working with visitors. Some indoors work will be necessary in a temperature-controlled booth.
