The Details:

Positions start May 2021 and extend through mid- to late-September (dates depend on Location).

• Start Date: May, 2021
• Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal (ideally full season or early/late season)
• Schedule Varies: 32 to 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of the Location Accountant

• Oversee/perform the daily accounting functions for cash operations at Glacier National Park lodges.
• Maintain the security of the cash operations and procedures required by National Park Services and Glacier National Park lodges.
• Work with Location Managers and staffs to make sure cash procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Enter daily Food & Beverage tip information into spreadsheets.
• Maintain, update and revise the Location Accountant desk policy and procedure manual as needed.
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Our Location Accountant will have 2 years experience in cash handling in large volume and working in hotels.  Location Accountant must be able to work with highly confidential information in a confined, high security area. This position requires having computer knowledge in Excel and Word. Our candidate will be extremely detailed oriented.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for a long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
