NOW Hiring Campground Host
Summary:
Campground host lives and works in the campground and is a contact for visitors (May-September). They perform a variety of tasks such as greeting visitors, handing out information, collecting fees, light maintenance duties, educate and inform campers on campground policies, and inform staff about potential problems. They are educated in all GPUD recreational policies and park rules and abide by them.
Requirements:
· MUST PROVIDE OWN TRAILER/RV
· Trailer/RV stationed at all times during employment in campsite #55
· Remain overnight a minimum of 5 days a week
· Physically fit to do cleaning, lifting and significant walking
· Check in with Office staff daily by 10am
· For the right couple one person could act as camp host and they other could be employed in the office/store
Duties:
· Post Reservation Tags by 2pm
· Assist in check-in
· Assist in afterhours check-in and honor box availability
· Responsible for after hour camper issues/concerns
· Coordinate with afterhours security
· Check for vehicle placards
· Check site assignments against daily manifest
· Check site after departure for damage
· Work required hours as assigned weekly in addition to being present during regular daylight hours to be available for campers and perform duties
· Job is averaged at 40 hours a week 3.5 days on with 3.5 days off
· Help camping guests with affiliated campground needs
· Stock restroom supplies
· Clean campsites
· Trash removal
· Lock and Unlock buildings
· Follow established cash handling procedures
· Abide by all Central Washington Management policies and rules
· Abide by all Grant County PUD policies and rules
· Work cooperatively with CBRA staff
Compensation:
· Campsite with water, sewage, and electrical hook up
· Salary based on experience and job duties negotiated
