RV SITE: SITE DETAILS: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: We offer a full hook-up campsite (water, sewer, electric service with 50 amp maximum), provide all necessary uniform components, and safety equipment (vest, hard hat, etc.), along with free laundry, a shed for storage, freezer, and fridge that will be shared with the other volunteers. Volunteers provide their own RV or trailer.
Volunteer Activities• Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • General Assistance DescriptionVisitor Center Maintenance Sept-Nov (Located at the Dam) Volunteer Duties: As a Visitor Center Maintenance Volunteer at Dworshak you can enjoy the summer in beautiful northern Idaho. The lake offers nearly 54 miles of fishing and boating opportunities. One couple is needed from September 15, 2019 through November 15, 2019. Most duties are between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the Volunteers usually work four on and four off that way you have time to explore Idaho, and the surrounding area. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, with no significant physical and mental condition that would prevent the volunteer from carrying out these duties. Your main job duties at Dworshak would include cleaning campsites and fire rings, picking up liter, cleaning bathrooms, empting garbage’s, lawn mowing, using the weed eater, trimming branches, painting, and using the blower at our 3 primitive campgrounds, along with 3 of our day use areas. Help rangers with special events or projects if needed. Vehicles and all the supplies you will need will be provided along with steel toed shoes. We also provided lawn mower training. (Please do not let your limitations in availability prevent you from considering this position; we will work with volunteers to fit their availability into our season.)
