Jim Creek is currently looking for camp host(s) to spend the summer with us and potentially the winter too. Jim Creek is nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades. We are located on an active military base. We are very limited in amenities so grocery shopping and most other activities will be done off base. We do have a laundry room (free use for you) and depending on how COVID precautions evolve we may have our Gym open as well. We have 23 tent sites, 12 RV sites, 20 standard cabins, 4 Deluxe Cabins, 2 Dens, 2 Mallard Campers, 3 remote tent sites, and 1 Lodge that sleeps 50 ppl. We also have a lake that we stock yearly with rainbow trout, 8 different hiking trails, bike trails, a 50ft Alpine Tower, 30ft rock wall, corn hole, ping pong, basketball court, gaga ball pit, 2 dog parks, 3 playgrounds, and 2 giant chess/checkers boards. We do NOT have cell phone service. Our nearest cell service is about 15 minutes away. AT&T does have some cell phone service but it is minimal and fluctuates in availability. You will need to drive into town for connectivity. We do not have Wifi. We are open year round. Your start date would be in May. We ask that you stay through Labor Day Weekend if not staying for the winter. In return for camp host duties, you get a 50ft FHU RV Site and free use of our laundry facility (on site). Your main duties include turning over our RV and tent sites after checkouts, doing “drive arounds” of the campground, enforcing quiet time and other campground rules. Interacting with guests in a friendly manner and assisting in after hour check-ins and guest questions. Our current pair of camp hosts prefer to work 3 days on and 3 days off. When they want to take time off, they work it out with each other. We would like to conduct interviews soon.
